SE Asian Woman Part 2: Online interaction with the Thai

 The Thai woman has almost same aspects of a Filipino but you really have to be careful and respect them. SERIOUSLY!    Respect is a big deal in Thai Culture.

In the online scene, most of Thai woman do not need a foreign man like the Filipina, they are very independent. That being said, most chances if you find a Thai online to interact with, there is a big chance of the language barrier.

The other drawback of finding one online (mostly discussed in part 1) is that you cannot talk any political issues or especially about the King. (Their king is everything so it can get you killed speaking about it the wrong way, We will talk about this in future post in details and loopholes for this).

Best way to meet these woman is going to Thailand itself to say it honestly. In this blog log, I don't want to set you up with bar girls or surprise ladyboys at the end. Again, its to find a genuine hard working Thai girl. (Bargirls will be discussed later by the end of the month)

Differences you will see during online interacting with a Thai compared to a Filipina:

• A Thai girl will work more than a Pinay, that daddy with the money relation if off the window
• They have a large complex culture, learn about it, and respect it.
• Language can be complex, especially most will be shy on Skype.
• Do not compare countries, its a Thai pet peeve
• Have patience, these woman work and study for a living. (Unlike Pinay that can text while at work)
• Be open to what she lectures, make sure it is a 1 on 1 conversation
• Unlike Pinays, they don't take as much photos, nor talk about food 24/7
• More Americanized than the Pinay. 

I gave a few points out with my many trips to Thailand, yet online interaction is kind of a mystery to me, especially since I dealt with them in their home turf (will be discussed Part 4). Just be careful in sending money, I cannot stress that enough.

I know you guys have seen angry expats living in Thailand...DO NOT BE ONE OF THEM!

They are actually shunned as SOCIAL PARIAHS! So respect the country, and do not be a PARIAH like the fat and old angry Thai haters in Youtube.

SE Asian Women Part 1. The Filipina (online interaction)

 Filipina women very in personalities, some from a hot flare temper to the docile ones.

Many websites try to stereotype the filipina (or Pinay) as a docile pet that can be bended at will, bought with monetary love, if you go to Philippines with that attitude, I am afraid sir, you will come to rude awakening.

Another fact is that these woman in the site are 10% scammers, 20% Bar Girls, 40% Webcam show host, 10% dead profiles, and 20%of the woman online genuinely looking for love.

That of course leaves us guys at a slim chance, so do not get jealous if your Pinay friend has over 30 guys on Facebook or her profile, chances are you have to compete against these other men.

Some men are adders, men who add and add constantly but cannot keep in track, other males are just friends who actually started talking to them for romance but did not work out between the two, and finally, we come to the males wanting to court. Remember do not get jealous if she is courting with another foreigner, it is not official and the are just trying to get to know each other. One thing is for sure, GET THAT CONSERVATIVE stereotype off the window, because truly, they are not.

Genuine Pinay woman for the most part:

• Want to feel sexy and wear skimply clothes (it is a norm and it is hot as hell in the country)
• Love to laugh and take thousands of photos
• Like long stories and long conversations
• Do not care nor ask about money 
• Are not looking for a male 20 years older than her age. (sorry older gentlemen but I will explain this)
• Keep you in their priority in their life, even if you are 20,000 miles away.
• Will pay their share and don't want you to spend money

Basically we have to think about how a woman in your country would feel if you tried to bribe them with gifts? Not good right? Same rules apply here. They want a compatible lover not more than 20 yrs older, stable, and can give them children. (Yes, that is why I don't keep relations because I do hate kids).

 The country also has it's bad apples and consequences when dealing with Filipinas:

Bad apples:

• Heavily parties, especially in known tourist spots. (Datinng around local foreigners)
• Tells you one job but seems to earn more than what she really does. (Might be bar girl)
• Is 18-30 and accepts a 60+ year old man. (In it for the money and gifts, chances she is a professional)
• Online but doesn't give you time of day unless there is something monetary
• Refuses to give her personal Facebook (all filipinas have facebook and a cellhphone)
• Knows perfect english and refuses for Skype or Webcam Voice call.(Might be scammer or ladyboy)
• Has an Iphone but she does not work and her parents are regular laborers( does not add up)

Again, these are the few general rules to talking to a woman, in Philippines, and rule Number 1 in a Filipina dating site, DO NOT ACT COCKY! AND DON'T SEND MONEY TO A PERSON YOU NEVER SLEPT WITH! Well have fun folks.

Things to know before diving in this series

• We are not covering bar girls (that is a future topic)
• Forget stereotypes: if you don't like U.S. woman then you will be at a rude awakening, although Asian woman do tend to have less of an attitude, (only difference really)
• I will refer to posts within the series very often, make sure you read all in succession because there are similarities.

This series of blogs is for people thinking about moving to the sexual tourist hot spots or Thailand and Philippines. Sadly, this lifestyle is not for everyone contrary to the popular belief that many "Living in Philippines or Thailand" sites say it is. Although both countries have its beauty and simplicity, we got to be honest here.

I don't go traveling there to view the beauty of the country. I go there for the sex scene, cheap cigs and liquor, and the living expenses that are literally pennies on the dollar. In this intro blog I will post once a week about the honesty of living on these countries, and not trying to make a quick buck like the other websites feeding you with lies and fabricating tales of everything you want to hear, and finally my so you can understand where I come from and how I ended up in these lecherous havens but, not all is just sex.

Intro:

My name is Andy, I am a 30 yr old and  2 time disabled Iraq War Vet. I am medically retired since 25 yrs old. My first trip to Philippines was a job offer from a magazine in Manila and during my weekends I used to travel all over Thailand and the rest of the Philippine countryside. Being Latino in Asia has it's advantages but as soon as I talk it is a whole different story. I had made a few profitable websites, started a few legit businesses for consultant fees, and own a 2 story house in a gated community in a Philippine foreign hot spot. I have lived 2 years back and fourth from Thailand to Philippines without going back to the U.S., seriously, why would I ever wanted to come back? 

• For the curfew of bar and club closings?
• Drinking restrictions?
• Expensive drinks and liquor?
• High Costing rent?
• Snobbish American woman who have nothing good to show for?
• Crappy beaches and constant weather change?
• Join the American rat race and not be an entrepreneur?

That being said, I want to be a mentor to all who read this blog and follow it. I want all of you to realize that most of the sites that offer tips to living in Asia are just bull and inaccuracies waiting to make a quick buck.

Living 2 years I had made huge mistakes that almost got me killed, I don't want anything crazy to happen to my fellow expats and want them to enjoy their travels on a budget. Why? Well every Thai and Filipino vendor is out to get your money, trifling women, and liars. I am here to get you prepared and by the time you take your first trip, you will be smart as the "Veteren Tourist".
